Sales Director
As a sales director, you will be responsible for creating and delivering sales strategy for VRWay's product range in the designated markets. You'll play a fundamental role in developing future growth, and provide vision, direction and leadership. Your specific duties will include:
- Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets.
- Delivering sales by developing relationships with retail partners.
- Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets
- Acting as an ambassador and role model for your business
- Taking responsibility for profit and loss
- Increasing market share in existing markets and maximise new business development opportunities.
- Achieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.
This is an exciting and challenging position; the Sales Director will be responsible for attracting and recruiting new clients and generating sales leads through commercial partnerships. Your main responsibility is to build a targeted hit list of prospective client partners via networking and negotiating exclusive deals and partnerships. The Sales Director/ Commercial Manager will act as a point of contact for advertisers and retailers and pitch to new clients. You will excel in face to face negotiations. The Sales Director/ Commercial Manager must have the ability to write articulate and professional proposals, identify and exploit market developments and will be expected to have face-to-face meetings presenting the case for using my client’s services.
The successful candidate for the Sales Director/ Commercial Manager position will have an excellent grounding and understanding of sales and marketing, first class communication skills and strong commercial awareness. The Sales Director will have responsibility for developing and executing a strategy for developing new business and penetrating new markets (and must have done this in their previous job). The Sales Director will have previous commercial sales and business development experience; VRWay is particularly interested in candidates with a consultative sales experience and a track record of selling and pitching at senior level.

Marketing, Customer Acquisition
We’re looking for a Director of Marketing for Customer Acquisition. The position will report to the VP of Marketing. It’s a highly visible and strategic role. He/she will manage the planning, strategy, implementation, and tracking of customer acquisition programs especially online customer acquisition via mobile advertising, paid media, paid and natural search, affiliate programs and other channels.
Do you have a track record of rocking online user acquisition? Does creating and optimizing mobile ads, Facebook ads, video ads, SEM and affiliate programs feel like riding a bike? Are your landing pages as smooth as butter?
Responsibilities (i.e., cool stuff you get to do every day):
- Develop marketing strategies to efficiently drive new customer acquisition through multiple media channels – especially online customer acquisition
- Drive the creation of effective ads and landing pages
- Continuously optimize user messages, ad creative, landing pages and marketing programs to drive higher ROI
- Identify acquisition sources with high user engagement and high lifetime values
- Refine tracking and deliver weekly reports on campaign metrics
- Work with development team to ensure success of SEO efforts
- Identify and develop business cases to test new channels and opportunities
- Monitor media investments to budget
- Conduct detailed analyses of key metrics and trends – execute quantitatively driven plans for increased performance efficiency
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in marketing, community and development
Required Experience:
Here’s where we describe you. You have proven experience creating, managing and optimizing customer acquisition programs; especially online customer acquisition for established brands or successful start-ups. You’re consumer-oriented, creative, and a master at organization and details. You like the fun and excitement of being in a hot, fast-paced start-up, but you have the experience and discipline to know what success looks like and how to get there.
- 7-10 years marketing experience with 5+ years of online marketing or e-commerce experience including creating, launching and measuring online marketing programs through online channels including mobile advertising, SEM/SEO, display advertising, affiliate marketing and social media marketing
- Proven track record of successful online user acquisition. Hey, did you notice this job is very focused on online user acquisition? You gotta love it!
- Creativity and desire to create new and innovative campaigns and programs
- Passion for marketing to consumers
- Ability to develop plans and make business cases for new programs, tests and resources
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated leadership experience with outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Track record of managing high performing teams, budgets and partners
- Proactive, energetic, self-starter who thrives on getting stuff done
- Comfort and experience with tracking and analyzing data, SQL knowledge is a plus
- MBA preferred
