The Responsibilities
Vrway's Director of Marketing will be part of a highly-motivated management team. He/she will report to the executive management team and he will create and manage product marketing, email marketing and marketing coordinator. The role will be responsible for developing tactical and highly measurable marketing plans for product advancements, local and regional customer acquisition strategies in Top 100 markets, advertising strategies, email marketing and creative promotions, and will manage overall event strategy for company.
The Director will partner closely with Management to develop and execute go-to-market strategy, business plans, integrated marketing campaigns, and budgets.

Role:
The Community Manager is accountable for the volume and nature of Arounder’s online community. This position is responsible for the development and management of these communities. The successful candidate will play a key role in the growth of community membership, the nurturing of communities that reflect Arounders principles and the ability for communities to contribute to the overall Arounder digital offering across products and platforms.
This role is accountable for membership and the direction of community behaviour, including Facebook and Twitter and arounder activities such as posting, rating, reviewing and commenting. The Community Manager will also manage wikis and other forms of social media; maintain reputation and friendship online; and monitor other platforms.
You will:
Grow and engage the arounder community, through interaction and surfacing of community behaviour.
Work with the editorial team to deliver a community that is reflective of the arounder values.
Manage the incorporation of community identity and content into Arounder’s overall digital offering.
Hold accountability for moderation governance and systems, including all tools and processes necessary for meeting legal and brand requirements.
Develop metrics for community activity and produce reports that communicate community strategy; deliver findings to the wider business.
Lead arounder’s social-media strategies, and deliver on these strategies to provide maximum benefit to arounder and its members.
Create and maintain business wide guidelines around representing arounder in the wider digital community.
Hold accountability for member accounts, privacy and security.
Team Leadership:
Actively build and maintain morale levels through open communication and activities that foster a sense of team unity and a focus on the achievement of results.
Manage direct reports to ensure they understand and meet the expectations of their role within their team and within arounder.
Proactively and collaboratively set team and individual goals aligned to arounder’s goals. Conduct mid-year and end of year performance reviews with direct reports as adherence to the performance-review process.
Ensure direct reports receive the necessary level of guidance and support to achieve their goals, identifying opportunities for individual growth and agreeing areas for development.
Ensure relevant training and career development opportunities are identified, implemented and applied.
Provide timely and constructive feedback on a regular and ongoing basis to direct reports as a part leading their overall achievement and development.
Manage the ongoing recruitment and succession planning needs of your team.
Comply with appropriate legislation in relation to staff management issues.

We’re looking for a Director of Marketing for Customer Acquisition. The position will report to the VP of Marketing. It’s a highly visible and strategic role. He/she will manage the planning, strategy, implementation, and tracking of customer acquisition programs especially online customer acquisition via mobile advertising, paid media, paid and natural search, affiliate programs and other channels.
Do you have a track record of rocking online user acquisition? Does creating and optimizing mobile ads, Facebook ads, video ads, SEM and affiliate programs feel like riding a bike? Are your landing pages as smooth as butter?
