SEA is the company that manages the airports of Linate and Malpensa, and its activities are in accordance with the regulations set by the aviation control board. SEA is direct responsible for centralized airport services such as airport operations management, information technology, information to passengers (based on data furnished by the airlines companies), safety and security and the supply of retail services through third party agreements. SEA is also responsible for the planning, construction and maintenance of new airport infrastructures and buildings.
SEA Handling, operative since June 2002, is a company controlled by SEA and supplies handling services to airline companies that request them: ticketing, check-in, passenger boarding and disembarkation operations, handling services for baggage, cargo and mail, aircraft assistance for cleaning and other operations required when aircrafts are on the ground. SEA Handling operates in free trade market of ground handling. The other companies totally controlled by SEA are MLE (Malpensa Logistica Europa) dedicated to the development and the running of cargo department and SEA Parking that manages the parking of Linate and Malpensa airports.
